The Infinite Ladder serves as an introduction to Integral Religious Studies. In short, it uncovers the ways in which academic inquiry might transcend the limitations of religious pluralism while maintaining all of its' important contributions. More specifically, this book examines five stages of religious orientation (magic, mythic, rational, pluralistic, and integral), two types (moderate and extreme), and examples of how each unfold within four traditions (Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism).
